I'd probably ask him if he remembers writing, say, "Visions of Johanna" or some other landmark song.

How could you write "Masters of War"/"With God on our Side" in the same relative time frame as "Tombstone Blues".

They may only have been written 18 months apart, but creatively speaking, 18 months can be a lifetime. As Bob himself says: "I was in an area that I knew no one had ever been in before, so I was able to write a lot of songs very quickly."

Is it true that Visions of Johanna was written for your first personal secretary whose name was Johanna and you were going to call it Seems Like a Freeze Out because she gave you the cold shoulder by refusing to respond to your advances?
