I highly recommend this book by Robert Hilburn. He is a well known rock critic in Los Angeles.
He has interviewed and befriended all the greats and his book contains a lot of his personal Bob Dylan stories.
Not only Dylan though he also focuses on Elvis, Johnny Cash, Waylon, Willie, John Lennon, Bono, U2, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Elton John, John Prine, Bruce Springsteen, Phil Spector and a host of others. The personal stories he tells of each artist is fascinating stuff.
Lately I've been picking it up and just opening to any page and finding something great to read.
Lots of insight into Dylan.
