A long-time listener & supporter of the station who’s been with us since from the very beginning emailed me on Sunday with some terrible news. I won’t publish her name out of respect for her privacy, but she gave me permission to post the content of her email:
“Cancer has returned. Am going but want to say thanks you for the station. It made me happy so many times. Blessings to you and yours. Being called home now…..amen.”
She’s a dear friend, so I would covet your prayers (if you’re a person of faith) and love for this wonderful woman and her family. I am shaken by the fact that she took time to email a silly website, but deeply thankful for the impact it had on her, as well as her friendship and support all these years.
I’m heartbroken.
