My beloved Mets are getting geared up for the World Series against the Kansas City Royals which starts on Tuesday evening. I’ve drafted the support of my fellow Canadians who want to see the Mets avenge the Jays’ loss, so we’ve got a lot of people rooting for my boys. So, again, I ask your forgiveness and indulgence should the Dylan-fest be broken by the occasional Mets song 😉
As you may be aware, your intrepid DJ is a lifelong fan of the New York Metropolitans – possibly the only one in Nova Scotia where the Jays & Boston reign. Now, being a Mets fan normally that means that I spend most baseball seasons crying in a dark room screaming “WHY?!” and wishing it were November already… but not so this year! This year, we have an actual shot! We’re currently 3-0 in the NL championship, so, if you hear an occasional Mets related song in the mix, I hope you’ll forgive and indulge my fandom. LETS GO METS!!
