Thanks to everyone for indulging our Canada Day tradition! Now… BACK TO BOB!!!

The greatest American songwriter will return tomorrow, but today we’re rocking Canadian artists all day long to celebrate Canada Day!

Tomorrow is CANADA DAY!! I hope you’ll join us as we celebrate 153 years of confederation by playing Canadian artists all day long, My country may be young & cold, but we have some amazing talent in True North strong & free!

But first… as is also our annual tradition, I must issue this national apology. Ehem… The nation of Canada would like to express our deepest regret for Justin Bieber and Celine Dion. Both have caused undue grief and countless ear-bleeds, and while we can do little to stop them now, I can assure you that you will hear neither of these “””artists””” on the broadcast tomorrow.

So warm up your hockey pucks and hide your maple syrup… because the Canadians are coming!

Long-time listeners are already familiar with our July 1st tradition, but here’s a head’s up for what’s coming next Wednesday: DylanRadio is based in Nova Scotia, Canada, and since your DJ has a little patriotic streak, it’s been our annual tradition to celebrate Canada Day by switching up the format a bit. While we celebrate the greatest American songwriter every other day of the year, on July 1st we celebrate Canada by playing Canadian artists all day long.

Your indulgence in this annual tradition is much appreciated. I hope you’ll enjoy the many Canadian artists we all love, and hopefully discover something you’ve never heard before, as well.
